A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of St. Albans Verulamium for..........

raising the incredible sum of £5,000 for Youth Talk at their Rotary Charity Golf Day. In particular, we would like to thank Norman Jelley for all his hard work which made this such a successful event.


Thank you to the Harpenden Town Mayor 2016-17 Councillor Mrs Nicola Linacre..........

for selecting Youth Talk as one of her chosen charities during her mayoral year. Following a number of successful events, including a Harpenden Schools' Music Night, £3,250 was raised for Youth Talk.


Our thanks to the Abbey Congregation of St Albans Cathedral..........

for gifting Youth Talk £1,000 from the Mission Giving Allocation for 2017. Youth Talk is most grateful for the continuing support.


Very well done and many thanks to Aja Whittingham..........

for organising and taking part in a musical event at the Hare and Hounds, St Albans and raising a magnificent £260 for Youth Talk.


Our thanks to Homewood Road United Reform Church Youth Group..........

for holding a huge cake sale and auctioning a special meal (with candles/bow ties and all) raising £440! Also to the church who held a Quiz night with a fish and chip supper plus a collection raising a further £390! Thank you to you all.


Many thanks to The Mayor of the City and District of St Albans, Cllr Frances Leonard..........

for choosing Youth Talk to receive the proceeds from the screening of the Mayor’s charity fundraising film, Henry V. More than £1,200 was raised with 100 people attending.


Thank you to St Albans City FC for choosing Youth Talk to receive a donation..........

from The Football Association’s Community Shield award. A cheque for £666 was presented to Youth Talk just before the match against East Thurrock United.


A huge thank you to Andrei Lussmann, the guest chiefs and Lussmanns staff..........

for raising £10,483 for Youth Talk in one night at The Dream Team Charity Dinner on 7 February 2017. Chefs from four local restaurants: Richard Cramer (Oxscale), Drew Knight (Dylan’s at the King’s Arms), Nick McGeown (Lussmanns) and Phil Thompson (Thompson St Albans) prepared a special four course meal for 76 diners at this fundraising event at Lussmanns St Albans.

for collecting £908 (a record!) for Youth Talk on Tuesday 6th December with The Round Table Santa Float. As always Richard was an excellent Santa (even getting Christmas cards from a couple of keen onlookers) and our 12 collectors did an amazing job! Thank you all very much on behalf of everyone at Youth Talk.


A massive thank you to Alison Cowan who..........

completed the Dublin Marathon and raised an incredible £3,039 for Youth Talk.

for raising £536 and £254 respectively through their Community Matters programme.
