DESCRIPTION:The Great Big Walk for Herts is back and this year it’s bigger than ever. \nOn Saturday 26 September 2026\, Youth Talk will be joining 11 other local charities in the Great Big Walk for Herts\, organised by Helping Herts. \nOur team will be taking on a 13-mile circular walk through the beautiful Great Gaddesden countryside\, starting from Hemel Hempstead Garden Centre. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get active\, enjoy the outdoors and be part of a county-wide event that is making a difference for charities across Hertfordshire. \nBy walking with Team Youth Talk\, you will be helping us provide free\, confidential counselling for young people aged 13 to 25. Every year\, demand for our service grows\, and community support helps us ensure young people have someone to talk to when they need it most. \n\nJoin hundreds of walkers supporting charities across Hertfordshire\nFundraising for Youth Talk is eligible for Helping Herts match funding\, meaning your fundraising could have an even greater impact\nRegistration fee is £15\, collected from your first donation to your fundraising page\nFundraising goal: £150\n\nEvery step you take will help fund vital counselling sessions for young people who need a safe space to talk\, without judgement. \nWhether you sign up on your own\, with friends\, family or colleagues\, we would love to have you on Team Youth Talk. \nSign up today and walk with purpose. DESCRIPTION:Could you cycle a stage of the Tour de France for Youth Talk? \nWe are very excited to be one of the lead partners for an amazing challenge in the summer of 2027! \nWorking with Discover Adventure (who led our team up Mount Kilimanjaro in Feb 2026)\, we are gathering a group of cyclists to tackle the first stage of the 2027 tour\, a day before the TdF teams take it on. \nStarting from Edinburgh\, the team will head to Carlisle along a stunning but challenging route – covering 120 miles\, with an ascent of approx 7100ft. \nThere will be a full and experienced cycle-challenge support team from DA\, and it’s an amazing opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere building up in the towns and villages as you ride. it’s the closest most of us will get to feeling like we’re part of the world’s most famous bike race. \nFor full details please click here \nIf you would like to join TdF Team Youth Talk please get in touch at getinvolved@youthtalk.org.uk\, or sign up here.  Please use the code GD26YOUTHTALK to ensure you are allocated one of the Youth Talk places. \n  \n
