We want to work with local businesses to ensure young people in St Albans District always have the support they need. Whether you are a small independent retailer or larger established company, there are so many easy ways your business can help us change the lives of young people in your community.
Your partnership helps young people when life is at its toughest
75% of young people who are experiencing mental health problems aren’t receiving support.
We’re a small friendly and experienced team – we’ll work together to meet your company’s aims and objectives.
We’ll make sure we help your staff fundraise to the max and understand more about their own wellbeing.
Getting involved with Youth Talk raises staff awareness of young people’s mental health, and could help colleagues whose children are going through times.
We’ll work together to create exciting PR opportunities and share all your fundraising efforts on our social media .

In 2018, Debenhams Ottaway staff chose to support Youth Talk because of our vital work to help young people in St Albans and surrounding areas. Mental health and wellbeing needs to be promoted and talked about in all workplaces. It’s more important than ever with many young people suffering with mental health problems because of the pandemic.
Every since, Debenhams Ottaway’s staff have risen to every challenge and been fundraising heroes all year long. From the 2.6 challenge, indulgent bake sales, health and wellbeing week and various competitions throughout the year, including the ‘Best Dressed Christmas Tree’ and a #ConnectWithNature photography competition!
“The amazing work that Youth Talk does is vital for our children and young people. It’s great to see so many of our staff embracing the cause and fundraising for this incredible charity. It’s inspiring to hear how much of a difference our fundraising makes.”
