Lumin Wealth’s fundraising goes festive!
Lumin Wealth is a wealth management firm that champions a straightforward and transparent service based on significant expertise.
Lumin previously raised £1,835 for Youth Talk by organising a charity raffle at the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Community Business Awards.
And our partnership with Lumin continues!
Why Youth Talk
Joe Fisher, Financial Planning Manager at Lumin Wealth, commented:
Lumin Wealth also runs an Adviser Academy that typically employs five graduates a year. This shows a commitment to nurturing future generations and bettering our community – something Youth Talk has great respect for.
As a community organisation, we are always looking to partner up with local businesses who employ young people, have staff with children, or those who share an affinity with our charity’s aim to improve young people’s mental health. Lumin Wealth recognises that our vision will help to build a stronger community for us all.
And the fundraising’s not over for Lumin!
Lumin’s Christmas Cracker Day
On Wednesday 14th December, Lumin employees wore their Christmas jumpers to work and baked tasty treats in aid of Youth Talk.
Christmas is generally a time of celebration, but in a cost of living crisis with shorter days and now snow, more and more are finding this period particularly challenging. At Youth Talk, we see first-hand the challenges that winter, and life’s pressures, can have on a young person’s mental health.
Youth Talk would like to say a huge thank you to Lumin Wealth and its employees for taking on a festive fundraiser during a really urgent time of need.
Lumin’s support will help us to continue providing free and confidential counselling to vulnerable young people in our local community.
Youth Talk is a local charity that exists for the St Albans District community and is driven by the community in which we live, work or study.
We are looking for 50 businesses to join us in 2023 and for each to commit to raising £1,800.
This will pay for two local young people to receive a course of counselling.
With 100 young people waiting for our help we need your support. Email getinvolved@youthtalk.org.uk to find out more.
