The Snowball Effect
‘The snowball effect defines how small actions can encourage bigger actions, ultimately resulting in a HUGE impact’.
Imagine your Youth Talk donation as a snowball that is rolling down a snow-covered hill. It starts small, but as it gathers more momentum, it picks up more snow, making the impact larger and larger. Help us create a HUGE Youth Talk snowball effect!
How you can help
- Make a donation to support our vital work
- Tell your friends, family, colleagues that you are supporting the charity this Christmas – and encourage them to do the same!
- You will receive a special ‘Thank You’ image via email – please share this on your social media channels to help us build our snowball
By donating to charity you can make a positive impact on the lives of others while spreading the spirit of giving. All donations will help provide free, confidential counselling to 13-25 year olds in St Albans and surrounding areas.
About the Artists
Heartwood Glass based in St Albans, Hertfordshire have been selected as one of the nation’s 100 most impressive small firms by the Small Business Saturday UK campaign founded and supported by American Express. Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which celebrates small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and to support businesses in their communities.
“We are incredibly proud to be a part of this year’s SmallBiz100 line-up, which showcases the most inspiring independent businesses from across the nation. It’s an honor to be recognised and it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support from our friends, customers, and local community.” Alex & Gavin.
You can also purchase the St Albans Collection glass works of art and for each one purchased a donation of 15% of the sale will be made to Youth Talk as part of Heartwood Glass’ ‘Charity of the Year’ support.
