Could you cycle a stage of the Tour de France for Youth Talk?

We are very excited to be one of the lead partners for an amazing challenge in the summer of 2027!

Working with Discover Adventure (who led our team up Mount Kilimanjaro in Feb 2026), we are gathering a group of cyclists to tackle the first stage of the 2027 tour, a day before the TdF teams take it on.

Starting from Edinburgh, the team will head to Carlisle along a stunning but challenging route – covering 120 miles, with an ascent of approx 7100ft.

There will be a full and experienced cycle-challenge support team from DA, and it’s an amazing opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere building up in the towns and villages as you ride. it’s the closest most of us will get to feeling like we’re part of the world’s most famous bike race.
