Ongoing recruitment – Qualified Psychodynamic Counsellors
We are looking for qualified counsellors or psychotherapists with experience and a proven interest in working with young people.
What we offer:
- A minimum of 6 hours counselling per week

- Weekly Clinical Team Meetings (Thursday 1.30pm)

- £30 per session for 6-8 young people (£32.50 per session for taking 9+ young people)
We ask that you are:
BACP (or equivalent) recognised Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling / Psychotherapy
Be Accredited (or working towards Accreditation)
Experienced working with children/young people (at least 1 years experience working with children/young people – does not have to be in counselling)
Able to undertake a minimum of 6 sessions per week between 4pm – 7pm.

Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser
We’re looking for a passionate, experienced fundraiser to join our team. Could this be you?
Salary: £25,000 – 30,000pa
Hours: 35hrs per week, open to part time / flexible working
Location: Home based – with occasional work in the office and meetings in St Albans, Herts
Now is an exciting time to join Youth Talk. We’ve moved to our new home as part of our 5 year strategy for growth, this provides our charity with double the space to offer counselling support to local young people.
This is a new role to identify, develop and manage new corporate partnerships and individual giving opportunities. The Corporate Partnership Fundraiser will lead on and shape our business offering, building on significant work and achievements from previous years to help us develop our capacity and sustainability.
You will be a people person and act as the first point of contact for supporters, help build relationships, keep accurate records and be enthusiastic about raising funds to provide free counselling support for local young people.

Office Receptionist and Administrator
Salary: £20,529 (FTE) pro-rated to £7,039 per annum for 12 hours a week (this may increase to 16 hours in the future)
Hours: 12 hours per week over Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (see recruitment pack for more information)
Location: 64 London Road, St Albans, Herts, AL1 1NG
The successful candidate will have a passion for people, mental health, and be able to thrive in a busy environment. You’ll be able to multitask and demonstrate the ability to achieve results, going that extra mile to make the difference. We are ideally looking for someone who has strong experience of admin or reception, although if you feel this role would be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you. The role will be working mostly from the office but occasional work from home.
