DO YOUR OWN THING

Run a marathon, host a coffee morning or hold a football tournament

We need volunteers and supporters like you – so that we can always be there for our local young people.

Get inspired

Dinner party

What could be better than a charity dinner? Whether you cook a mean curry, have a family favourite dish or want to host a pizza party, choose your dish, invite the troops and cook up a treat in aid of Youth Talk.

Garden party

Summer’s coming and it’s time to invite family and friends round for a garden party! Space for garden games? Charge for taking part. You can also ask people to make a donation to Youth Talk, put on a BBQ and set up a raffle or tombola.

Quiz night

Host a quiz, sell tickets in aid of Youth Talk, and raise money and awareness. Ask local businesses to donate a raffle prize or something for a tombola to make it a night to remember.

Charity come dine with me

Don’t worry about booking a restaurant, decide on your own menu and get polishing your silverware. Take it in turns to host one another and each guest pays to attend. Don’t forget to score one another, share and tag us on social media!

Run or cycle

From couch to 5k, to a round the world challenge, there are hundreds of events and virtual challenges we would love you to run or cycle for us! Having a goal will help you get your kit on and out the door. It is easy to set up an online fundraising page to help your miles mean more.

Team tournament

Football, rounders, rugby or volleyball, whatever your sport you can organise a charity match, asking teams to donate to compete for glory.

Personal challenges

Take on a personal challenge:
No alcohol for a month? Swapping the car for the bike? No phones in the evening? The harder the challenge the more you will raise!

Sports day

Everyone gets competitive around the egg and spoon! Charge teams to enter and don’t forget to buy a wooden spoon and winning prize!

Bake off

What’s not to love? Whether you work from home or regularly go into an office, get baking for donations.

Sunflower growing competition

Who can grow the tallest, biggest or brightest sunflower? Charge to enter and get schools and work colleagues involved.

Run or walk for Youth Talk

Take on an unforgettable challenge through Run for Charity, with access to iconic events like the Brighton Marathon, Royal Parks Half Marathon and London Landmarks Half Marathon. Secure your place and make every mile count by raising funds to support young people.

£ 0

could help fund our school contact leaflets, giving young people a vital prompt to help them get in touch.

£ 0

could ensure there’s someone at the end of the phone, when a young person is brave enough to take that first step towards getting help.

£ 0

could help pay for a counsellor to have their supervision with our clinical supervisor, a valuable opportunity for a counsellor to share any concerns they have about a young person.

£ 0

could pay for a young person to have a 50 minute one to one counselling session.

Raising money for Youth Talk was brilliant. Every single donation I received gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.
It was fantastic, people just kept on giving and were thankful to me for taking on a challenge for such an important, local cause!.”

Celebration fundraising

Fundraise for us while you celebrate your birthday, wedding, anniversary, new baby or retirement.

You’ll be helping us get a vital service to the young people in our community.

Celebration

You can fundraise at a special event, or ask for a donation to Youth Talk instead of a present for yourself.

Each donation we receive helps us reach more young people with somewhere safe they can talk and someone who will listen.

Why not – set up an online fundraising page to help promote your celebratory event. Then ask friends and family to donate and tell the world why these gifts mean so much to you.

Every donation helps keep our service running for our community.
