Could you run for us? Join Team Youth Talk!
Sunday 8th June – St Albans Half Marathon
Ready to make a difference? Lace up your trainers and join #TeamYouthTalk for one of St Albans’ most exciting events – the Half Marathon!
Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, a walker or just in it for the fun – there’s something for everyone. And by taking part, you’ll be helping local young people get the mental health support they need.
Why run for Youth Talk?
Every step you take helps fund free, confidential counselling sessions for young people across St Albans. Just £300 in sponsorship is enough to give six young people the support they desperately need.
We’ll support you every step of the way:
✅ A free charity place (limited spots available!)
✅ A Youth Talk t-shirt to wear with pride
✅ Help to set up your fundraising page
✅ Our team cheering you on – plus a medal and an ice lolly at the finish line!

Choose your challenge
- Half Marathon – The ultimate test of endurance on a scenic closed-road route.
- Walking Half Marathon – A slower-paced version, but just as powerful.
- 10K Race – New for 2025! A brilliant mid-distance run on closed roads.
- 5K Race – A faster, fun route around Verulamium Park (ages 11+).
- Fun Run (1.5 miles) – Perfect for all ages and families. Children under 8 must run with an adult.

Thank you so much for your support.
Your support means we can be there for our young people. Be part of it.

We need £500k this year to help provide free support to the growing numbers of young people who need us now

Our goal is to increase our service provision by 20% this year

£50 could help provide a young person with a free counselling session to open up about whatever’s on their mind

£10 can make sure there’s someone at the end of the phone when a young person is brave enough to take that first step towards getting help
