Loneliness and chronic illness can be difficult for everyone. Whether you’re a child, teen, young adult and so on. It comes in all shapes and sizes. I’m Rosie, Youth Talk’s Fundraising and Communications Assistant who is really enjoying working at this amazing charity on the Government Kickstart Scheme.
Youth Talk celebrate four year partnership with Debenhams Ottaway
My name is Catherine and I joined Youth Talk in December. Mental health has always been a huge thing to me as a young person myself. Based on that, I knew Youth Talk would be a great place for me to work, as it represented something which I so passionately believe in and want to help.
The Sheriff’s Awards this year were awarding a fantastic £1,200 grant to charities that support young people and the unique outlook they have and contribute to the community. We want to personally thank Lionel and everyone on the panel, as winning this award means raising more awareness for Youth Talk and taking the next step towards growth within our charity. This grant specifically supports our local counselling service.
We’re hiring…. With the pandemic subsiding and the sun shining, it’s a very exciting time at Youth Talk. Our charity is needed now more than ever before and we’re determined to be there for the growing numbers of young people in St Albans. To help make this possible we are expanding the Youth Talk fundraising team, we are looking for a Community Fundraiser and a Fundraising Assistant
