Law firm Debenhams Ottaway had a week of festive fundraising activities in December. All to raise money for their chosen charity, Youth Talk.
Festive fundraising ideas
Keeping with tradition, staff took part in a Christmas jumper competition. With a prize for the best festive knit.
Debenhams Ottaway have donated £250 to Youth Talk instead of sending Christmas cards to clients.
By donating in lieu of sending Christmas cards – Debenhams Ottaway will help us to fund five one-to-one counselling sessions.
Here are some fun entries they’ve had in the competition!
Why Debenhams Ottaway chose to support Youth Talk?
Since 2018, Youth Talk has been Debenhams Ottaway’s chosen charity support. We provide vital support to young people in St Albans and surrounding areas who are struggling with their mental health.
Managing Partner Susan Glenholme comments; “Christmas fundraising is always popular at Debenhams Ottaway. We’ve got lots of fun activities to get everyone ready for the festive season. We hope this will create some Christmas cheer while raising money for our wonderful chosen charity, Youth Talk.”
Youth Talk, Chief Executive, David Barker shares “Debenhams Ottaway are a fantastic, loyal corporate partner of ours. Their continued support of our local charity reflects how important a role they play in our community. They are supporting young people, during a real time of need. We look forward to seeing pictures from the festive activities staff have planned for the Christmas season. We cannot wait to judge the best festive knit again this year!”.
